You lazy sod! A double page?? Aaaar! Feel my rage mind beams!

Check it out, I'm writing a critique... Ooooh... I have to be all thoughtful and clever... Watch as I fight the system! Yah! Ya gizzers!

Alright, alright... actually, I love this pic. Remember you said you were going for an 'all seasons' series? To me, well, here's your winter... Classy, serene, an 'all there' kind of picture, exactly the mood a movie night should be. It's thought provoking too, and better illustrates why the group are friends; that being despite their differences in something as mundane as watching a film, they all are able to do so in each others company, which speaks volumes on their intertwined relationships. Usually, it is the small things.

They all look very close too, real friends, which is a definite plus. I'm glad you did this. It sets the mood and, if you've been following the comic, is a relief from the high tension before. Just goes to show that everyone has somewhere they go to, and Alex is fortunate enough to have people that give her that escape.

Its something I'm ashamed to say I didn't pick up on earlier as I felt I knew these characters well, that her exhilarant attitude is fueled by the people around her and not entirely by her own inner fire. That may just be me though, hope I'm not off the mark.

So, enough flowers.

This is a critique, so I'll be blunt: I would've increased the contrast and added some blur on the lighter parts of their faces, although the trade off would've been a lack of appreciable detail, so perhaps its good you didn't black it out.

I think an exploration of a combination of heavy and light 'inking' may yield a very effective but not too laborious result that would be very pleasing in your work.

I would also suggest a shine to Alex's hair, nothing too show-y, just a small sheen of some kind, to better illustrate the fact that its not entirely her own.

Also, the impression of three dimensional depth on the couch arms is nicely done. I like that. In addition, though its a small detail, the curtains are also very nicely done.

Overall, good hustle soldier.
